When and how often will I need to attend?
Post-surgery post-operative physiotherapy total knee replacement rehabilitation can typically begin about one week after surgery and will require 2-3 physiotherapy sessions per week for 4 weeks and then 1 time per week from there to work toward a restoration of range of motion and function.
Post-surgery post-operative physiotherapy after a total hip replacement rehabilitation can typically begin about six to eight weeks post-surgery.
This variation will be determined dependent on the type of surgery you undergo, the surgical protocol, and your individual presentation post-surgery.
