East Gwillimbury Physiotherapy and the East Gwillimbury Runners Club are gearing up for two Spring training sessions to train for 5 km and 10 km runs.     It is high time to register for Soccer if you are a resident in East Gwillimbury or Newmarket.  Physiotherapy is a great way to prevent injury this season or rehabilitate an injury to sport level of competition.  Physiotherapists agree that warm up is key in the prevention of a sports injury on the field or otherwise.  A good warm up paired with the proper equipment are just some of the keys to success.

    Pregnancy is one of the miracles of life and can be an extraordinary experience.  It can also be an uneasy and uncomfortable experience and sometimes there is pain that seems to increase over the course of the pregnancy for some women.     For the first time, this past year East Gwillimbury Physiotherapy started pole walking groups (two levels) lead by a certified Urban Pole walking instructor and Registered Physiotherapist.  The East Gwillimbury Physiotherapy Urban Pole Walking group explored some of the many trails in East Gwillimbury.  These beautiful nature walks show off some of what makes Newmarket and East Gwillimbury such a great area to live in.  We pole walked the Anchor Park Trail, the Holland River Trail as well as Roger’s Reservoir.
